The Lowdown Magazine
In 2018, the Ujima Blues Foundation invited me to make a magazine to keep their worldwide blues dancing community connected when they weren't together at events. I created brand guidelines that were cohesive, yet flexible enough to authentically convey the unique spirit of each blues dancing community hub in the publication.
Additionally, due to the worldwide nature of the community, the magazine had to be available both in print and digitally. I designed the digital version as a website alongside the print to ensure that it would feel like a companion to the print version, rather than an afterthought.
