Art Direction

One of my responsibilities at Elle is to art direct photo shoots for native content and advertorials. Elle has a recurring page called The Find, which is a package advertisers can purchase that includes our art direction, shooting the product, and designing the page in line with our brand guidelines.

 

I create moodboards for each shoot that detail our vision and lighting references, art direct the shoots either virtually or in person, design the layout for the page, and see it through the print production process along with my other sections of the magazine.
